OPPORTUNITIES FOR SERVICE

Food Bank:  pack food boxes once a month at Westside Food Bank or volunteer time at our local Desert Foothills food bank.

Greeters:  meet and greet people as they enter the sanctuary prior to Sunday morning worship service.

Sunday Morning Teacher:  teach Sunday school for children and/or adults.

Habitat for Humanity:  help build homes in our community and the inner-city.

Nursery  Volunteer:  help care for our young ones (up to 2 years) on Sunday morning.

Office Volunteer:  help in church office with mailings, answering phones, general office and/or computer work.

Ushers:  seat people during the worship service and collect offering.

Youth Groups:  Please call (480)488-3384.  You can help in a variety of ways:  providing transportation, being a mentor, helping with activities, etc.

Session Committees:  serve on Leadership Development, Personnel, Adult Ministries, Youth Ministries, Children's Ministries, Discipleship Round Table, Fellowship Ministries, Stewardship Ministries, Communications, New Member Ministries, Missions, Worship, Music & Arts, Financial Management, Buildings & Grounds.

Hospitality Team:  supply cookies for Sunday morning coffee hour.

Library:  catalog books and provide other librarian services. 

Member Visitation/Nuture:  visit and support members of our church family.

Visitor Outreach:  greet and help new visitors at our Guest Tables or phone neighbors who have visited our church.

Vacation Bible School:  be part of this important summer youth ministry for one week in June.

Stephen Minister:  become trained to reach out and help congregational members in need.

First Presbyterian Church of Leupp:  participate in our special relationship with a Navajo church.

Ecumenical Chaplaincy for the Homeless:  volunteer to help assist homeless obtain ID documents or pack hygiene products for them.

Public Relations:  Posters/Art/Banners   Writing/Editing  Layout/Printing Desktop Publishing.
